About Us
Blackburn Construction is a Commercial and Residential renovation and construction company operating in the greater Athens and Atlanta area. The company was started with one purpose in mind. Most contractors drop the ball when it comes to attention to detail and nurturing relationships. Having worked in the luxury market for years, it has become apparent that many clients are not satisfied with the treatment and quality they receive. We want to address the needs for a higher quality contractor that follows through to the end of a project in the greater Athens and Atlanta area. With headquarters in the historic city of Watkinsville, the seat of Oconee County, we can easily access and provide services to all the surrounding areas.
At Blackburn Construction, the project process starts with a foundation of trust. Taking the time to meet face to face and form a personal relationship is not something many larger construction companies are interested in. To many of them, projects are nothing more than a way to close more business and book more revenue to keep their large and wasteful systems moving. Every client becomes a number and once the project starts you never hear from the contractor again, except when it is time to pay an invoice, because they are too busy and have moved on to try and sell the next one. These large companies typically don’t have the time or inclination to stop and really listen to their clients. At Blackburn Construction, we understand that there is a reason we were born with two ears and one mouth. If we truly listen to our clients, twice as much as we talk, we can fully understand the needs and desires of our customers so that personalized service can be tailored to their project and then delivered.
